MEi.i_oußNß, August 4. Ritson [the murderer of the Rev. Mr. Hill] was executed yesterday. , He made a full confession before his death. The Land Bill is passing rapidly through committee. Sir Richard Dry, of Tasmania, died on the 2nd inst. Business is very dull ; breadstuffs greatly depressed. The Volunteers land order agitation has been condemned by a brigade order. Irish State prisoners, refused by Victoria, are to be allowed a refuge in New South Wales. Mr. Weld, the new Governor of Western Australia, had arrived. Mr. McKinlay of Sydney has been arrested on a charge of defrauding his creditors.
