NATIVE INTELLIGENCE.

On imday, news was received overland from Taupo, some of the items of which were new; among others, that Te Heu Heu, with 100 men, had left Te Kooti and gone to Paterangi, among the Europeans. Henare Pukuatua, the Arawa chief, with 100 men, had taken up position at Moerangi, which he intends holding. The news of the king having ordered Te Kooti away was also confirmed. The arrival of the Wellington on Sunday morning, puts us in possession of more detailed intelligence, which we extract from the Auckland papers. Private letters state, in addition, that 300 of the king Waikatos have heen organized, into a war party, with the intention of attacking Te Kooti, should he remain in the king's territory. Much apprehension prevailed at Tauranga of an attack from Te Kooti. Colonel Harrington was engaged in removing the Colonial forces from Matata, and concentrating them at Tauranga. The garrison at Fort Galatea, consequent on this alteration in arrangements, had been withdrawn. Lieut. Tupper, who, a short time since, left Napier at the head of 30 mounted men, with directions to proceed to that fort, has, we learn, been ordered back to Te Haroto.
