Koch, as presented to the Provincial Council, will be found in ; our fourth page. - The Bachelor's Ball comes off this evening, and will, we believe, be very numerously attended. Colonel Whitmore has resigned his seat as a member of the Provincial Council for the district of Wairoa. A current rumour, for the accuracy of which we cannot vouch, is thafc he intends resigning also as commander of the field force.
