Alpbed Buckland's report for week ending Sentember 11.

AT the Haymarket, on Saturday, 20 acres at Mangare brought £300, and tbe 56 acres at lhumata £7 15a. an acre. Not many horses were offered for sale, and none of a heavy class. Medium draft horses were in fair inquiry and brought from £16 to £20 each.

At Remuera, on Thursday last, for young dairy cows, at calving, better rates than ruled last week were obtained. Store cattle maintained previous rates. Not many penned. Fat cattle were generally of small size, but of good quality ; prices ruled high, from 50s. to 555. the 1001 ft., and the sale closed with an unt-atisfied demand. 100 head were sold to the trade.

The very heavy rain-fall occasioned the withdrawal of the ewes and lambs advertised ; the store wethers (quarter-bred Leicesters) brought 13s. 3d. each. Fat half-bred wethers, 245. to 265. Long-woolled, 2Gs. to 325. each. The sbeep were of good quality ; above 600 sold. Lambs brought from ss. to 13d each. A few choice dairy-fed pigs were eagerly competed for,, and brought about 6^l. the # lb. dead weight. Good etore piga were also in demand, at full rates.
