At the Haymarket, on Saturday last, best hay brought 3s. the cwt. There were more horse stook sold than for some time past. Prices were something higher. Best draught horses, about £35 caob. Unbroken three year-old draught colts and fillies, £18 10s. to £20. Draught foals, £8 ss. each. The draught entire. Young Clyde, £48. At the Triaugle, on Tuesday, not many cattle wero offered. Young Leicester owes brought 435 ; aged ewes, 255 ; ewo hoggets, 22s Gd ; and wether hoggets, 16s each. At Eemuera, on Thursday, the sheejy market was very full, and most of the stock shown of very good quality, particularly the long-woolled wethers. Prices were lower than for the last few weeks — 2s. per head, and several pens of merinoes were withdrawn, also a pen of long-woolled ewes in low condition, buyers preferring" to await the sale on Wednesday next. Dairy oattle offered sparingly, and better prioes were obtained for springers than for several weeks. Young store cattle, particularly yearling steers, were in better request. Orown store cattle were lower in price, and fat oattle barely maintained late rates. Fat pigs were also a shade lower than for several markets. j
