[Reports for the week ending July 26.] MESSRS. W. HUNTER AND CO.'S REPORT. ' W, Hunter and Co. have io report that, on j Saturday last, over 40 horses were brought forward. Some good hacks fetched from £6 10s. to £8 each \ some heavy draught horses fetched from £10 10s. to £18 10s. each ; haoks were plentiful, and sold at low prices. At the Newmarket Yards there were about 100 head of oattle brought forward. Dairy cows fetched from £11 to £14 each. Backward springers fetched from £8 to £ ( J 10s. each. Two-year- old steers fetched from £5 ss. to £6 each. Somo one and half-year-old heifero fetched £4 10s. Three-year-old steers fetched from £7 to £S saob. Working bullocks fetched £11 each. Fat oattlo : There was a fair supply of fat cattle of good quality, which realised from 355. to 40s. per lOOIbs. Sheep Market,— Th«re waa a large supply of sheep ; somo half-bred hoggets fetched 16s ; merino wethers fetched from 12s. to 16s, 6d. each. Otahuhu Sale.— Tbere was a fair supply of cattle, principally two-year-old steers, which fetched from £4 155. to £5 15s. each j some 18 months old heifers fetched £3 15s. each.
