Cobb in Hawke's Bay. — In our last we mentioned that Mr. Peters, a representative ot Cobb & Co., in Victorin, was about to proceed to Hawke's Bay to establish lines of coaches there. We are requested to state that Mr. W. Davis, who has been carrying on the business in this Province so efficiently, will go with Mr. Peters, and that the Hawke's Bay service will be carried out by the two gentlemen conjointly. Coaches are now being built in Melbourne for the enterprise, and we believe that some have already been shipped. In joining with Mr. Peters, in Hawke's Bay, Mr. Davis does not intend to give up the business in Wellington. y On the contrary he is making preparations to carry on a more rapid communication along the West Coast.r — Ad~ vertisei . ■ [The gentlemen refered to arrived yesterday in the Ahuriri.] - : .
