Post Office Savings Banks.—-We perceive that these banks are now being established throughout the various provinces ; and understand that a branch will shortly be established in connection with the Post office, Napier. Waiboa Rifle Volunteebs. —His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to accept the services of this corps, and to make the following appointments :—Ensign William Airy Richardson (Napier Militia) to be Captain; date of commission 21st December, 1866 ; —Montagu Stopford to be Lieutenant; date of commission, 21st December, 1866 ; —John Lavin to be Ensign ; date of commission, 21st December, 1866.
