To the Editor of the Hawke's Bay Herald.
Sib, — May I ask whence you obtained the information that the first prize for Shorthorn Bulls at Havelock was awarded to a Bull by Comet? I was not present at Havelock, but have been assured from all quarters that the first prize was awarded to & Bull bred by, — Your Obdt. Servant, The Importer of Don Juan. [The facilities for obtaining accurate information at the Show were by no means of the best. Probably, therefore, an error has crept into our report, which wetbauk our correspondent for pointing out. — Ed.]
