Since the close of Messrs. Stuart, Kinross & Co.'s large sale, business transactions have been limited, but, notwithstanding, trade seems to be looking up. The market is well supplied with goods of all descriptions. Stocks in sugar, very heavy. Timbek.— -The imports of this article per Victoria and Excelsior were mostly orders ; the remainder found a ready sale at 235. per 100 feet. Inferior lots have been offered at 18s.
