Sullivan, for Auckland, via the Coast, with 20 bags wheat, 4 casks pork (for Auckland), J. Campbell, for Wellington via the coast, in ballast. — W. Lechner, ageut. November 14 — Effort, schooner, 32 tons, Kopu, for Wairoa, with 5 bags sugar, 5 bags flour, and 1 plough, order. Passengers — 20 natives. — Maltby & Co., agents.
The Excelsior left Auckland on the evening of the 7th November; was off Portland Island on the ni=;ht of Sunday the 9th ; arrived at anchorage on the evening of the 10th, making a fine run from port to port of about 72 hours. She came into the Iron Pot on the morning of the 11th. Had strong westerly gales with but little intermission the whole of the passage. No passengers. The Kate, schooner, 26 tons, Owen, master, with firewood on board, was loading for this port alongside the Indian Empire when the Excelsior left. She would get away about yesterday or to-day.
