At Mr. Danvers' maiden sale of merchandise, held on Thursday last, there was a large attendance, and good prices were realized. Tallow lamps sold from 16s. 6d. to 235.; portable desks at ]os. 6d. to 155.; bridles at 6s. 9d. to 7s. 6d.; a saddle for £3 65.; regatta shirts at 235. per dozen; drugget at Is. lid. and holland at 7|d. per yard. Of the furniture offered, cheffoniers went for £8 Is, and a strong office table for £i 2s. Onions realised lid. per fl>.
