To the Editor of the IZaio/ce's Bay Herald. Sir,— Could you; Mr. Editor, give me any idea why I was struck off the electoral roll by Mr. Hart ? There are many others, I have no doubt, would'also like to know why they were disfranchised. If 1 register again I may be served in the same manner, aud I am too far from the Port to attend when the Revising Officer visits this Province. I see many names on the new roll whose -claims are exactly similar to mine, viz., — i acre sections. The form of application to be put on the roll was filled up and signed by me in presence of J. B. Ferguson -Esq., J. P. 3 thus: — ".Ed-
ward Boddington, Book-keeper, CUve, Freehold, Town of Napier, £ acre sections 265 and 266/' — - which land I still hold, and for which I have received the Crown Grants, and for one of which I have been offered £40. Therefore I consider the value sufficient to give me a vote. I do hot want to intrude on the "Open Column" of the "Herald," but if you think fit when you have a corner to spare, you can insert this therein, and you will oblige, Yours moßt obediently, EDWAED BODDINGTOIiF.
