ADVERSE OPUNAKE WEATHER NORFOLK PINEs""fOR CLIFF TOP (From Our Own Correspondent) Owing to adverse weather on Wednesday the Arbor Day scheme of the Opunake Town Board’s to plant Norfolk pines along the cliff top had to ‘be postponed until Wednesday next. Heavy hail fell almost throughout Wednesday morning, whilst at the upper half of the Ihaia Road residents experienced a fall of snow. The atmosphere in Opunake and district has been the coldest for many a long year and everyone is anxiously waiting foi some real spring weather.
