BADMINTON SEASON ENDS
ELTHAM CLUB MATCH. (From Our Own Correspondent). The final evening of the present reason’s play was held by tile Eltham Badminton Club on Wednesday, when there was a large attendance. There was a progressive tournament of ping pong, badminton and cards and resulted as follow: Misses K. Fake and A. Brooker and Messrs. C. Carter and E. Craig. Consolation prizes were won by Misses R. Neilson and M. Penman. During the evening Air E. Townsend, president, presented Miss R. Neilson with a crystal powder bowl. Miss Neilson, who is shortly departing for Australia, suitably replied.
