General Ito, head of the Japanese 1 military mission to Italy, has telegraphed the Air Under-Secretary, General Valle, profoundly admiring the new Great Italy and the courage and faith of its people, hoping for a continuance of the traditional JapanoItalian friendship. Their Governments have ordered Belgian and Swedish instructors to the Abyssinian army to resign and return home, says a message from Djibouti. Canada Willing to Join in Reprisals Against Italy Received 3.0 p.m. to-day. OTTAWA, Aug. 23. The Canadian Commissiqner in London has been authorised to pledge Canadian willingness to join the League in economic reprisals against Italy.
