The monoplane Earth m Australia making a. return trip to Adelaide from Darwin after starting a new air mai! service between these two centres, landed at Daly Waters after the centre engine nad been badly damaged when a fault developed. The passengers and crew are stranded at Daly Waters, which is about 350 miles from Darwin. A relief 'plane has been sent from Adelaide.
