new member welcomed. (From Our Own Correspondent). The Mokoia Hall Society’s monthly meeting .was held last night when Mr E. Dunn presided aiu\ there was a wood attendance, a welcome being extended to Mr W- J- Marsh who has been appointed to fill the vacancy caused by the resignation of Mivb. Tidswell. It was decided to have the hall piano tuned and to engage Mr •O. Laidlaw to keep.it in order. Arrangements were made for the fortnightly dance. . The new Tangalioe bridge is taking shape gradually and road travellers ma y see the concrete piers on tile xlawera side. . ... The milk supply is going up at the factory and the manager hopes to commence cheesemaking at the week-end. Tests range from 4.2 to 4.9 at present.
