After a hearing in private, in which the explanations of Captain T. V. Hill, of the Niagara, and Captain Paul Graine, of the King Egbert, were given, the wreck commissioner, Captain L. H. Lindsay, stated that the collision between the two vessels was unavoidable, and neither captain was to blame.
