STRIKE CALLED OFF
CONFERENCE WITH CONCILIATORS. (United Press Association— TSy Electric Telegraph Copyright). NEW YORK. July 23. The general strike at Terre Haute, where martial law was declared yesterdav, lias been called off accordang to an announcement of the president of the Central Labour Union after a conference with Federal conciliators. - The terms of any agreement reached will not immediately be made public. Apparently the troops will not he removed till to morrow at the earliest. A total of CO. OOO loft work at Terre Haute in sympathy with strikers' in an enamel factory.
