our, Miss Rita Dudding, whose marriage takes* place next month, wore a slim-fitting frock of jade green silk velvet, frilled with black net. Mrs Haylock chose a gown of deep red phantom crepe, Miss Haylock wearing a tunic frock of plum coloured novelty crepe and lace. Miss Joyce Dudding s frock was fashioned in rust red wind swept satin. Dancing, singing and games passed a happy time for the guests and during supper Mr S'. Brough asked Mis® Dudding to accept a large number of gifts, Mr O. Dudding replying on behalf of his sister.

A statue log cabin was won by Mbs Oliver and Mr J. Young, Miss R. Dudding winning a parcel game. Mesdames K. Dudding, Haylock. Phipps. Hyndman, R. Haylock, Misses E Gooch, B. Sattler, H.
