A message from Paris states that Maurice Chevalier lias signed a contract to appear at the Casino ile Paris next year in a musical show called “Parade of the World” The question of salary (Chevalier naturally has big ideas since his long: .stay in Hollywood) has been settled by giving him a percentage of the profits. lie has not deserted the screen for good. He would like to make one picture in Hollywood with Ernst Lubitsch or one in England .with Alexander Korda. Lubitscli having given up directing for producing, the latter seems (lie more likely. In the meantime, Chevalier is starting on a concert tour through France.
