EXTRACTS FROM “HAWERA STAR” JUNE. 27, 1885. Electricity has proved a great adjunct to photography. The other night the President of Prance, while attending a soiree, was photographed from twelve different positions, and knew nothing of it until the close of the evening, when an album was preseuted to him containing the pictures. * # ■, * * * * Speaking of .football (says the ‘ Chronicle”) we notice that an attempt is being made by the club’s up the coast to form a football union, with the object of getting a strong team to try conclusions with the Wellington men.
