CHARGES OF HERESY
ANGLICAN PRIEST IN TROUBLE. MENTAL CONDITION GRAVE. (United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph Copyright). MELBOURNE, June 26The charge of heresy made against the Rev. H. E. Hayes, an Anglican Driest at Mernda, has been adjourned until December. His counsel declared that Mr Hayes’ mental and physical condition was very grave, and that he contemplated a visit to England. The commission granted the adjournment on condition that Mr Hayes refrained from selling pamphlets and other literature concerning church doctrines and refrained from interviewing the Archbishop of Melbourne, Avho is hoav in England,
