FOURTEEN PERSONS KILLED
TWO ’PLANES IN COLLISION FIVE OTHERS INJURED (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph Copyright). BOGOTA (Columbia), .Tune 24. Fourteen persons, including Senor Carlos Gardel, a South American film star, and Senor Ecnesto Samper, known as the Lindbergh of Colombia, were killed and five injured when Senor Samper’s ’plane crashed. The accident occurred when Senor Samper’s ’plane was taking off. It crashed into another ’plane and burst into flames. The tragedy occurred at Medellin, 200 miles nortn-west of Bogota.
