MID-WEEK COAIPETJTION GAAIES. APPOINTMENT OF UMPIRES. Hockey umpires appointed for South Taranaki mid-week fixtures are as follow : Senior men.—All at Hawera at 1.30 p.m. : Egmont v. Alanaia, Alessrs. A. Jackson and A. Stevens; Katua v. Nolantown, Alessrs. C. J. AlcFadyen and A. R.yap. Junior men.—Whakamara v. Tokaroa at 2 p.m., Alessrs. E. Fryer and CL Davies; Egmont v. Nolantown, at 3 p.m., Alessrs. A. Stevens and C. JAlcFadyen.
The team .selected to play the Taranaki representatives will -be: Millar, Rollo, Lander, Cruickshank, Simon, Syme, Fredericks, Spurdle, Shaw, McCilashan Blake.
