Personal and General Miss R. Harris is on a visit to Wellington, where she is tlie guest of Mrs R. G Arson. Mrs R. Reid, who has been visiting Patea, left on Thursdav for Waikanae M iss K. Gibson, who has been the guest of Mrs R. Harris, has returned to Wellington. Mrs C. R. Honeyfield was “at home” to a number of friends at her | residence on Thursday afternoon. Mr G. S. Fraser, Patea, is an inmate of the Patea hospital, where he underwent an operation for appendicitis. Miss K. Hurley was the recipient ot a beautiful brass tray as a parting gift of esteem and' with all good wishes from the member of the Patea Ladies’ Golf Club on Wednesday afternoon last. Miss Hurley was accorded musical honours, after which she thanked members for the handsome gift, which she said would recall to her the happy days she had spent with the club.
