A comprehensive plan for the acceleration of mails between Australian capital cities hy ineans of high speed aeroplanes has been prepared by the Postmaster-General (Senator McLaehlan).
The plan contemplates at least daily services in each direction between Brisbane and Sydney, between Sydney and Melbourne, between Melbourne and Adelaide, between Melbourne arid Hobart and services in each direction twice or thrice weekly between Adelaide and Perth.
