ALPINE CLUB ACTIVITIES

ADDRESSES TO MEMBERS At the weekly club evening of the Mount Egmont Alpine Club iieid last evening Miss D. Cienient gave a short account of a walking tour up the W anganui River ancl through the Tangarakau Gorge. The previous week the address was given by Mr J\ McKee, the oiticer for the Automobile Association (South Taranaki), the subject being places of interest to holidaymakers, the district covered more particularly being ISortli Auckland, 'this proved to be very interesting and Mr McKee was asked to give a further address at some later date. A trip to the mountain is being arranged for this coining week-end., the conditions for ski-ing being at the present time, excellent. Members wishing to go on .this trip should communicate with the club captain as early as possible in order that transport may be arranged.
