UNEMPLOYMENT RELIEF WAGE
INCREASE PREFERRED TO RATIONS. HASTINGS BOROUGH RESOLUTION (l»y Telegraph —Press Association^) HASTINGS, June 13. A resolution expressing to the Government the council’s view thtt it would be preferable to increase Telief workers’ wages by 10s weekly during the winter rather than that rations should bo supplied to Telief workers was unanimously passed, by the Hastings Borough Council to-night.
