BUTTER AND CHEESE LONDON MARKET REPORT The New- Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company Limited has received the following London market report: — Butter.—New Zealand, choicest salted S2s to S3s; market steady. Cheese. —White, 435; coloured, 43s Gd; market quiet. LAMB' AND BEEF The Bank of Australasia has received the following cable dated June 4 from its London office:— “New Zealand lambs. Demand checked for the time being owing to recent rise in price. In view- of the smaller shipments it is anticipated that present .prices will be maintained. “New Zealand mutton. —Only a fair demand; market steady but stocks too large to permit of better prices and no material change is expected at present. “Netv Zealand beef. —Demand and prices steady and no material change is anticipated.”
