THEFT FROM CABARET
£IOO MISSING FROM SAFE. MYSTERIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES. (By Talflgrnph—Press Association.} AUCKLAND, April 23. • Mystery surrounds the disappearance of approximately £IOO in cash from the (Peter Pan cabaret. The money is believed to have been stolen from a safe in the office, but there was nothing to indicate that the safe had been forced open. The money was intact when the cabaret was closed shortly after 1 a.m. at the conclusion of the night’s dancing, and the theft was not discovei'ed until about 9 o’clock this morning.
