“The love with which the people of Australia received me, the ready response given to my appeals, the enthusiasm with which the people have risen to high standards of devotion and their service to the Almighty have surpassed my expectations. The leaders of the Government have stirred my deep admiration by their devotion to the cause of the people, particularly to the poor of the land. All have done their part, including the Press, to make my visit the unprecedented triumph which it has been. Farewell, dear Australia; you will ever live in my heart.”
