Otakeho Committee

At the monthly meeting of the Otakeho Girl Guides Committee held on Wednesday Airs Nichols presided and it was decide to combine with the Scouts in a church parade and service to be conducted by the Rev. W. Cottom. The president expressed gratification that, a number of brownies, guides and guide officers were that day being examined for their second class badges. At the conclusion of the meeting members attended a ceremony at which Airs J. Houston, of Hawera, enrolled three new brownies and two new guides to the Otakeho company. Mrs Houston, in addressing, the girls, spoke to them very earnestly on thenduty as guides, both in and out of uniform. . , The commissioners w'ere entertained to afternoon tea by Airs Alackie.
