BASIC WAGE INCREASED
NEW SOUTH WALES ADJUSTMENT (United Pram Aaeocxation—By Electric Telegraph Copyright) SYDNEY, April 20. The Industrial Commission of New South Wales on Thursday adjusted the basic wage in accordance with the increased cost of living and granted an increase of Is a week for adult male employees, who will receive £3 8s 6d, and an increase of ficl a week for adult females, who will receive £1 17s. The increases will take effect in May.
