INSPECTION BY RAILWAYS BOARD VIEWS OF LOCAL BODIES In accordance with the policy of inspecting the raihvay system of, the Dominion to assist in administration work, the Government Railways Board will make an inspection of the StratfordOkaliukura and Paeroa-Taneatua railways, when local features relevant to the operation of these lines will be studied. The board is willing to meet representatives of local bodies who may wish informally to place their views before it, but no public functions are desired.

The board will leave Wellington on Tuesday, April 30, and on Wednesday, May 1, will proceed to Frankton Junction, via the Stratford-Okahiikura route. On Thursday, May 2, the board will proceed to Taneatua and -stay at Tauranga overnight, the return journey being commenced the following morning and the itinerary completed the same day.
