Dinner Party
Large bowls of opal shaded hydrangeas and tall vases of deep rose oleander made pretty decorations in tlie reception rooms of the Hawera Women’s Club, when a dinner-party was held last Tuesday night by members of the music circle. After the toast list was completed the annual meeting was held and the opportunity was taken 'to hid “boil voyage - ’ to .Miss B. Young, who leaves this week on ail extended holiday overseas. Those present included Mesd'ames J. S. Young, W. G. Simpson, W. Adams, E. Evans, S. A. Chisholm, A. K. Fvson, P. O. Veal©, G. A. Duncan, A. J. Corrigan, J. E. Campbell, C. G. Trotter, J. Houston, A. K. Fyson, Misses C. Reilly, M. Power, D. Richardson, B. Young, McCall, D. Corrigan, E. Murdoch, B. Ryan and McMillan (Palmerston North).
