AH Blacks to Leave New Zealand on July 31 NO MATCH IN NEW YORK WRONG TIME OP YEAR (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, To-day. It was reported at the New Zealand Rugby Union meeting last night that the All Blacks would leave for England definitely on July 31. A request from Blackpool that the team play a practice match there was declined. Mr S. S. Dean, chairman of the management committee, said that he had been in touch with Mr Collins, New Zealand trade representative in Canada at present in New Zealand, and had ascertained that Mr Collins had discussed with Cabot, an ex-Otago player now a professor at one of the American matches for a New Zealand team in New York.

It was admitted that January would be the wrong time of the year for matches there, but it might be possible to play down the eastern seaboard at Washington and round about there. Mr Collins was going back soon and bad said he would he very pleased to co-operate with Mr Cabot and also do all he could" so far as the team’s visit to Canada was concerned. There again, it would be the wrong time of the year for matches at Toronto and Montreal, hut the team would be able to play in British Columbia. Mr Dean’s statement followed an intimation from Mr Wray in London that he had received a request for information as to the prospects of the team playing in New York, but had replied that it would probably be out of the question owing to the time of the year.;
