ASSEMBLY AT CHRISTCHURCH. NEW CHAIRMAN INDUCTED. (By Telegraph —Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, To-day. The fifty-second annual Assembly of the Congregational Union of New Zealand is now being held at Christchurch. Thirty delegates arrived last evening. The new chairman of the assembly, the Rev. Albert Mead, was inducted at Trinity Church by the retiring chairman, the Rev. CL Heighway. Visitors were welcomed by Mr. ±l. Sturge, chairman of the Canterbury district council.
