LICENSEE TWICE CONVICTED

At the quarterly meeting, of the Auckland Licensing Committee to-day the chairman (Air Wyvern Wilson, S.M.) "said he noticed that one licensee had had two convictions in l six months, but no step yet. had been taken by the police to have his license forfeited. “The correct procedure is for the police to call upon him to show cause why his license should not be forfeited,” said the chairman. “Are such steps being taken?” he asked. Sub-Inspector .Scott: Yes, at the annual meeting in June. The chairman: Proceedings will be taken?"
