Farley, Postmaster-Gen-eral, issued a lengthy statement today branding Senajtor Huey Long’s charges of graft in the acceptance of a tender for the New York post office as “untrue, false, ridiculous and 1 baseless.”
He said lie welcomed the investigation. Meanwhile Senator Long has continued almost daily in the Senate attacks on Mr Farley and the Roosevelt administration, which he charged with attempting to “whitewash” his charges of graft.
