Coming-of-Age Party

Over 100 guests wore entertained by Air and Mrs A. Skevington in the AVhakaihara Hall oil Saturday evening in honour of the coniing-of-age of their triplets—Ada, Teresa and Erie S’kevington. The event was unique in the district and congratulations and best wishes of the large assembly were showered upon the young people. On behalf of the residents Air L. E. Christie made the presentation of numerous gifts to the three, including ii fountain pen to Eric and suit cases to Ada and Teresa. He. also thanked Air And Airs Skevington for their hospitality. A beautiful bouquet was presented to Airs Skevington by ‘Mrs 'J. Bark la and dainty posies were presented to her two daughters by Aliss Scott.. 1 ' During the evening music for dancing was played by' Mrs "E. A. Langley and extras were contributed by Airs P. Buckrell, Miss G. Gulliver and Mr N. Barkla. At the supper interval a birthday cake, adorned by 21 flags and other favours was cut by Eric Skivington (uid distributed by Ada and leresa. Each received a golden key, which was autographed in turn by the guests. $ The hall was decorated by friends oft the young people.
