Australia states: “We arrived at Balboa with 100 per cent, fuel reserves and took in sufficient fuel to take us to Jamaica where we will fill up. The dislocation of schedule, due to the Seth Parker, brought no * dire dietary results. It is true we have had no eggs or fruit since mid-February, but there is ample tinned fruit. It is sufficient to say that the choice roast beef and roast pork at last night’s dinner showed how well the commissariat has husbanded the ship's resources. The Duke of Gloucester in the forenoon flew : ; n the United States amphibian to Gatun Lock where he re-embarked.
