FATAL GUNSHOT WOUND
TRAGEDY NEAR CARTERTON.
VERDICT AT THE INQUEST
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) CARTERTON To-day.
An inquest into the death of Hugh Thomas Carswell, aged 40, was held at his late residence, seven miles from Carterton, this morning, before Coroner E. G. Eton. After the hearing of evidence the verdict returned was suicide by means of a gunshot wound, due to financial worry.
