(By Telegraph—Press .Association.) -SYDNEY, -Sept. 17. li At the Stadium to-night MdW Blan-‘ don, Bst. 131 b., knocked out the Englishman, Phineas John, Bst. 131 b., ini the tenth round of a boxing contest. At the end of the 10th round Johnrequested the referee to stop the fight; owing to an eye injury. It was subse-j quently announced by the management that after receiving the report of the; doctor the directors had decided not to pay John his money.
