DOCTOR SETS NEW RECORD. PLUNGE OF 3028 FEET. (United Press Association—By Electric -Telegraph Copyright.) Received 2 p.m. to-day. LONDON, Aug. 15. Dr. William Beel)e set a new record for deep .sea diving in his bathysphere to-day, reaching 3028 feet, which exceeded Saturday’s dive by 518 feet.
