TENDERS ABOVE ESTIMATES
PROPOSED NEiW RULIDING GOVERNMENT~L4FE INSURANCE (Bv Telegmph— Press Association.) WELLINGTON, May 3. Official advice was .received to-day that tenders for the proposed Government Life Insurance building were considered to be too. high. After the tenders closed the matter was placed before the Cabinet and it decided that the matter should be reconsidered. It is understood the tenders were several thousands of pounds above the architect’s estimate.
