DAIRY COMMISSION INQUIRY
PROTEST PROM SOUTH TARANAKI PRIME MINISTER'S REPLY. - The following telegram was forwarded to the Prime Minister (the Rt. Hon. G. W. Forbes) yesterday by the South Taranaki Provincial Executive of the Farmers' Union: “A 1 largely attended meeting of the South Taranaki Provincial Executive, held to-day, emphatically protested aagin-st your action in. refusing to include in ,the order of refer enc.c for the Royal Commission oh the dairy industry, a report on farm finance, -with special reference to land and stock mortgages.” , The Prime Minister replied to-day as follows: ‘‘Tour telegram received. It is considered that the order of reference is sufficiently wide to covet .the point referred to.”
