SYDNEY, May 3. About 14 days ago, while handling wool at a Botany .scouring works, Walter Cooper, aged 24, .scratched liis left arm. A small eruption appeared some hours later and he became ill and slightly delirious. The eruption became an ulcer and it was found Cooper had contracted anthrax. He is now in hospital recovering after injections of a nti-a.nthrax scrum.
The Minister of Health, Mr Weaver, is having regulations framed to lessen the dangers of workers among articles which may cause anthrax.
