JUDGE GIVES WARNING
THEFT AND RECEIVING. MAN SENT TO GAOL. (By Telegraph —rrcsw Association.) WELLINGTON; May 2. After a {conviction on two charges of receiving and on ono of breaking and entering with intent to committheft, James Perry was sentenced by Mr Justice Reed in the Supreme Court to-day to two years’ imprisonment on each charge, the sentences to be concurrent. His Honour observed that the prisoner had qualified >to be declared an habitual criminal and warned him that if lie came before the court again ho would be unlikely to avoid being so declared.
